Joseph Apao, 79, a retired teacher, died June 27 in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. He is survived by sister Elizabeth Elarionoff and brothers Howard and Henry. Ashes to be scattered at a later date.

George H. "Duke" Bills, 91, a retired salesman and U.S. Army veteran, died Saturday in Queen's Hospital. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by wife Jane H.; sons Robert H., Charles H. and David B.; and three grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. Memorial donations suggested to the Waikiki Aquarium.

Vicente Ramones Butac, 79, of Honolulu, died June 23 at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Irene, daughter Thelma, brother David and two grandchildren. Kalika Hilinai Cabral-Kiaaina, 2 months, of Honolulu, died June 30. He was born in Honolulu. Galileo Cardona Espero, 54, of Waipahu, died June 27 in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines. Evelyn Kikumi Higa, 80, of Honolulu, former owner of Monsarrat Delicatessen, died Wednesday. She was born in Ulumalu, Maui. She is survived by husband Shoyei "Kenneth"; daughter Jean Miyashiro; brothers Richard, Robert, Yoshinobu and Wallace Miyahira; sisters Vivian Higa, Eleanor Yonashiro, Doris Maedo and Amy Tsuhako; and four grandchildren. William Tam Fook Hue, 81, of Honolulu, a retired Naval Supply Center and USARPAC employee, died June 28 in St. Francis Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Dr. George A. Kanna, 70, of Hanapepe, Kauai, a retired self-employed dentist, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. Shinkichi Kohagura, 83, of Waipahu, a retired Oahu Sugar Co. employee, died Wednesday. He was born in Kekaha, Kauai. He is survived by sons Eugene and Rodney, daughter Diane Au, brother Nobutoshi, sisters Hideko Tomishima and Yoshiko Sakima, and four grandchildren. Isamu "Tsuka" Tsukamoto, 88, of Honolulu, a retired painter, died July 7 in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Allen and Robert, daughter Janice Suzumoto, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Tadayoshi Yoshimi, 90, of Hilo, a retired state tractor mower operator, died July 8 in the Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Waiakea, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Charlene Kojiro and Yvonne Inouye, and four grandchildren. Services were private.
