Josefa Banayos Bachiller, 89, of Waipahu died June 22. She was born in Bangued, Abra, the Philippines. She is survived by husband Vincent Sr., sons Ernesto and Vincent Jr.; daughters Aurelia Barreras, Ely Rebultan, Josephine Carino and Felicidad; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Kenneth "Ken" Michael Elicker Jr., 42, of Kihei, Maui, a Hawaiian crafts maker, died May 4 at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Warren, daughter Roberta, mother Janet, brothers John and Jay, sister Annie and three grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Swanzy Beach Park in Kaaawa. Iris Kiku Kehau Hamachi, 20, of Waimanalo, a student, died June 29 in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by parents Calvin and Henrietta, brothers Christopher and Jonathan, grandparents Lily Goo and Toyoko Hamachi and great-grandparents Albert and Marie Nuuhiwa. Yoshiko Ishida, 91, of Hilo, a homemaker, died Tuesday in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by daughter Carol Yamamoto, sister Ethel Misao Hanai and two grandchildren. Private services held.

Joseph Louis Medeiros, 90, of Kaneohe, retired from Oahu Railway, Oahu Transport and Castle and Cooke, died Monday in Kailua. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by wife Delphine; sons Charles, Clayton and Joseph; brothers Frank and John; sisters Cecilia Rhoades, Florence Puana and Roseline Fryer; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth Pereira, 93, of Wahiawa, a kitchen helper at Leilehua High School cafeteria, died Wednesday. She was born in Ewa. She is survived by daughters Lorraine Ferreira and Helen Robello; son Richard Perreira; sisters Lucy Lum and Delphine Maria; brothers Manuel and Joseph Miranda; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Carmencita "Mercing" Birco Uganiza, 59, of Ewa Beach, an employee at MMI Realty in Kahala Mall, died June 21. She was born in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, the Philippines. She is survived by husband Pedrito "Peter"; sons Elmer, Willard, Jesus and Joel; daughters Rosalina Aquino, Necy Rayo, Sherrie Yabes, Nenita Barut and Joann Madamba; brother Leopoldo Birco; sister Lourdes Tubran and 17 grandchildren.
