A happy and
relatively quiet Fourth

After having grumbled in this space that the people of Oahu should celebrate the Fourth of July without exploding dangerous fireworks, it is a pleasure to note that no one was reported to have been injured and the property damage was relatively slight. It looks like the vast majority of citizens took to heart the plea of the Fire Department and left the fireworks to the professionals. Good thinking.
