Demetrio "Deme" Perido Cueno, 58, of Waipahu, who worked for Duty Free Shoppers, died June 25. He was born in Cavite, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Norma, daughter Lizette Cueno-Sabaria, sons Herbert and Dennis, mother Emilia, brother Celso and two granddaughters. Herman Kealoha Gilman, Jr., 69, of Honolulu, a fuel systems engineer for 31 years at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, died last Thursday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Fannie K.; sons Kealii, Herman K. III and Asai; daughters Ramona Yadanza, Dee Wright, Sweety Emmsley, Rebecca Gilman and Kahale Tulua; parents Herman K. Sr. and Rebecca Brown; brother Joe; sister Winona Allen; grandparents John and Rose Gilman; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Takayo Ideta, 88, of Honolulu, died June 15. She was born in Spreckelsville, Maui.
