New jobs

>> AIG Hawaii Insurance Company Inc. recently named Doris Ohara director of human resources and administration; Jeanne Barrett, human resources manager; and James Sharp, training and education manager. Ohara was previously the director of client services at Human Resources Solutions. Barrett will be responsible for all human resources activities for AIG Hawaii and Hawaii Insurance Consultants. Sharp will manage and coordinate all training and development programs and resources for AIG Hawaii companies.

>> Fong Vooi "Josie" Kong has been named corporate purchasing manager for HTH Corp. She will oversee the purchasing departments of the Pacific Beach Hotel and Pagoda Hotel. Kong joins HTH after a stint at Outrigger Hotels and Resorts as a corporate purchasing agent.

>> Jeffrey Wright has been named assistant hospital administrator at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. He will be responsible for operating room services, environmental services, central services, food and nutrition services, medical education and staff competency, hospital finances, volunteer services, and the gift shop. Wright was previously a senior analyst and supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging for Kaiser's neighbor island facilities.

PROMOTIONS

>> Roy D. Burnett Jr., Richard Y. De Sa and John Huey have been named agents with State Farm Insurance. Burnett, a State Farm property claim representative for the past eight years, will become an agent for the Kunia area on Oahu. De Sa was an auto claim representative with State Farm for four years. He will service State Farm clients in Aiea. Huey, an employee at State Farm for eight years, will service clients in Honolulu.
