[Preview]

This list of previews of films opening this weekend runs Tuesdays in the Star-Bulletin:

Opening Friday

"The Mummy Returns": Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz reprise their roles in the inevitable sequel set 10 years after the first rollicking action/adventure film. The mummy Imhotep is shipped to a museum in London, and, not surprisingly, wakes again to startup his campaign of rage and terror. More importantly, Dwayne Johnson (a k a WWF's The Rock) makes his acting debut as The Scorpion King (PG-13).

Sneak preview

"A Knight's Tale": What looks like a teen film is set in, of all times, the medieval 1400s, and stars Heath Ledger ("The Patriot") as a young squire who takes up the identity of his master when the knight suffers an untimely demise (PG-13).
