Hawaiian Air, CPB
double their pleasure

Hawaiian Airlines Inc. and Central Pacific Bank parent CPB Inc. both posted double-digit gains this week to turn in the best performances of the 14 Hawaii-based companies in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index.

Hawaiian Airlines was up 15 percent to $2.76 as it ran its year-to-date gain to 52.3 percent. CPB, which reported record quarterly earnings Tuesday, rose 10.5 percent to $28.25.

Aquasearch Inc., last week's best performer, brought up the rear this week as its stock dropped 6.9 percent.
