More ‘Faust’

More dates have been added to the list of performances of University of Hawaii at Manoa's "Faust," whose first week was cancelled because of a strike by the university faculty. The added dates are:

"Faust, Part One": 8 p.m. May 2; 2 p.m. May 5

"Faust, Part Two": 8 p.m. May 3; 7 p.m. May 6

No additional dates will be added.

Celebrate boys' day

In celebration of Boys' Day, Market City Shopping Center will host a free kite-making workshop and yo-yo demonstrations from 10 a.m. to noon May 5.

Kids and adults can create their own "Scott Sled" kite from a kit, courtesy of High Performance Kites. Once finished, participants can also pick up tips on getting their kites off the ground.

Then Team Yomega and world-ranked Team High Performance will entertain the crowd with yo-yo tricks.

For more information about festivities at the center, call 734-0282.
