MILWAUKEE >> Hawaii's Chris Truby hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning and the Houston Astros sent the Milwaukee Brewers to their first loss in four games at Miller Park, 3-0.

Truby's home run, his fourth of the season, came with one out in the ninth off Curtis Leskanic (0-2) following singles by Richard Hidalgo and Daryle Ward, and a sacrifice by Brad Ausmus.

"It was supposed to be a fastball in and I left it over the plate," Leskanic said. "The only thing I wish I could take back on it would have been to get the pitch in more."

Lima (1-0) allowed six hits and struck out five before leaving after Tony Fernandez's infield single in the ninth.

"That was better than any start Lima made last year," Houston manager Larry Dierker said.

Lima improved to 9-0 against Milwaukee, which has lost six straight to Houston.

"We were just out-hit and outpitched," Milwaukee manager Davey Lopes said. "When you don't score runs, you lose ballgames."
