Highlights will include:

>> An opening session with keynote speaker Prof. Klaus Topler, executive director, United Nations Environment Program, Nairobi.

>> Four Strategies and Tools tracks, addressing sustainable tourism; urban and regional planning; energy and air quality management; and water and waste management.

>> Plenary session speaker Amory Lovins, CEO and executive director, the Rocky Mountain Institute, Snowmass, Colo.

>> Closing speaker Maurice Strong, special assistant to the secretary general of the United Nations and president of the United Nations University for Peace, Toronto, Canada.
