Spring Into Nalo Greens: "Fall in love with your salad" is how L'Uraku restaurant is promoting a series of events with Dean Okimoto of Nalo Farms. For a week beginning Sunday, Okimoto's greens and herbs will be displayed and sold at the restaurant. On Monday and April 12 at dinnertime, Okimoto will be speaking. Call 955-0552.

Cooking demonstration: Chef Robert Reash Jr. of John Dominis will teach the making of Grilled Salmon on Roasted Tomato Tapenade, Coconut Rice Steamed in Ti Leaf and Dungeness Crab Spring Rolls, noon Saturday at the fourth-floor kitchen, Liberty House Ala Moana. Tickets are $10, for a seat and taste of the food. To stand and watch is free. Call 921-2345.

"Gracefully Transitioning to Raw Foods": Douglas Graham speaks on how to move to a raw foods diet at a Vegetarian Society of Hawaii meeting, 7 p.m. April 11, Ala Wai Golf Course club house. Free. Call 944-8344.
