Mildred Susie "Lima" Almeida, 63, of Wailuku, an escort for a senior citizens group, died Thursday at home. She was born in Kamuela, Hawaii. She is survived by husband George; sons George Jr., Gaylord and Giles; daughters Gimberley and Gwendolyn K.; brother Durand Kealanahele; sisters Irene Torrey, Rachel, Abigail Calina, Rita Joyner, Sweetie Chong, Gail Wagner and Molly Esmeralda; and six grandchildren. Cheryl Fay Bajinting, 46, of Haiku, Maui, a bartender, died Thursday at home. She was born in Minneapolis, Minn. She is survived by husband Anthony, son Micah, daughters Kailana Flores and Mikiala B. Susan Espinola De Leon, 54, of Mililani, died Tuesday. She was born in Manila. She is survived by husband Edgardo, daughter Maria, son Noe, father Dr. Noe Espinola, brothers Jesse and Moises, and sisters Naomi Salang and Eva San Miguel. Shizuka Doi, 88, of Honolulu, a retired masseuse, died last Sunday at home. She is survived by son William, daughters Amy Hayashida and Jessie Doi-Cunha, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services held.

Kevin R. Giesea, 46, of California died Jan. 15. He was born in San Francisco. He is survived by father James, mother Lois, sister Lynn Elmensdorp and brother Stanley. Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Inurnment: 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Milililani Memorial Park.

Rui Hara, 102, of Kaneohe died March in Kailua. She was born in Japan. She is survived by sons Mike and Robert, daughter Betty Nitta, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Melvin Kalani Satoshi "Dishie" Honda, 66, of Wahiawa, a retired city and county refuse driver at Wahiawa Corporate Yard, died Wednesday. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Annabel, son Myles, daughter Carmille, brother Stanley and sisters Maybelline "Ilima" Silva, Norita "Kuulei" Cross, Antoinette "Haunani" Kahalioumi, Beurnadeen "Hinano" Lee and Arhlene Honda. Leona Misao Kato, 55, of Honolulu, died Monday. She is survived by husband Michael; son Shane Kane; daughter Michele; sisters Laura Budai, Dayla and Lois Watanabe, and Lynn Matsunaga; brother Rowdy Watanabe and seven grandchildren. Services pending.

Masako Komenaka, 94, of Honolulu, died last Sunday. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Bertram and Ernest, daughter Edna, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers.

Thomas Masao Kunihisa, 87, of Wahiawa, died March 20. He was born in Kauai. He is survived by wife Lillian, sons Calvin and Steven, sister Alice Ishiyama and four grandchildren. Private services held.

Wesley Noboru Kunimitsu, 55, of Kahului, a security guard for Hawaii Protective Service, died March 23 in Hale Makua. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by daughter Rachelle Kunimitsu-Baker, parents Waichi and Jane, brothers Mark and Lee, and three grandchildren. Services were private.

Jack Leslie Long, 84, of Wailuku, a retired general deliveryman for Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Co., died last Sunday in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He is survived by wife Kikuno. Services were private.

Pearl Mackiewicz, 79, of Makaha died March 24. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Richard Salinas Jr., Chester Jr., Bruce and Michael Mackiewicz; daughter Carolyn Carpio; sister Blanche Amps; brother Alvin Kumalaa; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. John Manuia "Termite" Pakele, 89, of Kaneohe, a retired Hawaiian Electric Co. line inspector with more than 46 years of service, died Monday in Kailua. He was born in Kaalaea. He is survived by wife Isabella "Bella"; children Trini Hough, Gwen Higa, Nani Witsch, Eva Kong, Johnsie Kodama, Norinne Vierra, Quentin Gohier, and James "Kea," John "Mia," Allan and Colonel Pakele; 52 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren. Christopher Keawe'iwi Pilayo, 78, of Waimanalo, a retired United Airlines ramp services employee with 35 years of service, died Tuesday in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. Pedro "Dela" Delos Santos, 88, of Papaikou, Hawaii, a retired crane operator for the former Onomea Sugar Co., died March 21 in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. He is survived by son Pedro "Pete" Delos Santos Jr., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were private. Lynn Toyoko Tanaka, 56, of Honolulu, a former teacher, died Wednesday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Paul M., daughters Julie S. and Laurie C., mother Elsie Yukitomo, brother George Yukitomo and sister Jeanette Mimuro. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church, 3400 Moanalua Rd. Call after 9:30.

James Warren, 88, of Kihei, Maui, an artist, died Wednesday in Hale Makua. He was born in Ohio. He is survived by wife Sonja Selin, sons William and Ray, daughter Gale and several grandchildren. Services were private.
