Feb. 17 at age 49.



Kaheana K. "Hannah" Caballes, 77, of Honolulu, died Feb. 15 in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Dixie Delos Reyes; sons Godofredo, Manuel and Romulo; brother Joseph Kapaona; sister Alice Neula, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services: 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Nuuanu Park Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Additional services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Call after 9:30 a.m. Burial: Noon Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.

Iris A.N. Chi, 87, of Honolulu died Saturday. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by sons Edward and Cyrus; daughters Eunice Ching and Vivian Chong; brother Thomas Pang; sisters Esther Lau and Peggy Liu, and seven grandchildren. Graveside services: 3 p.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. No flowers.

Catherine "Katie" Cordeiro, 75, of Pahoa, Hawaii died Thursday in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Edward M., Frank and Douglas; daughters Catherine "Cathy" Victorine, Shirley Shelley, Jeannette Eblacas and Sandy Cordeiro; sister Cecilia Fernandez, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Additional services: 12:15 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Homelani Mausoleum. Casual attire.

John A. DeCambra, 43, of Honolulu, died Feb. 18 in Straub Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brother Stafford and sisters RaeDean Tomihama, Lori Saxman, Jacqueline DeCambra and Desiree DeCambra. Services were private.

Monica C. Gansit, 95, of Honolulu died Feb. 11 in Liliha Health Care Center. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by son Fernando; daughter Cresencia G. Tajas; sister Maria Cabanilla, and three grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Jean N. Gusukuma, 56, of Honolulu, a retired teacher at Pearl Harbor Kai Elementary School, died Friday in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Harold; son Chance; daughters Andrea and Alana L.; mother Gladys Goya; brother David Goya, and sisters Lois Ann Higa and Katy Kalawe. Services: 6 p.m. Friday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m. Aloha attire.

Jane Fujii Isobe, 69, of Honolulu, a retired secretary for the U.S. Weather Service, died Saturday in Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband George; sons Scott and Marc; daughters Carrie Finlon and Lori Darmawan; brother Richard Fujii; sisters Mary Kuwaye, Alice H. Sanpei, Helen Popovich and Gladys Gusman, and four grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.

Fannie G.C. Ching Izumi, 77, of Honolulu, a retired teacher at Kalani High School, died Feb. 13 in Straub Clinic and Hospital. She was born in Hawaii. She is survived by sons Ford and Steve; daughter Faye Izumi-Haae; brothers Lawrence Ching and Bernard Ching; sister Vera Luke, and four grandchildren. Services: 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 2 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. next Monday, March 5, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.

Marion M.P. Makuaole, 62, of Nanakuli, died Feb. 14 at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband George; son Timothy; brothers Joseph, Wendell and Wayne Kekumu; sister Lorraine Kekumu, and one grandchild. Melanie F. Konno Ofoia, 41, of Kaneohe, died Thursday. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert; sons Jonathan and Joshua; daughter Jessica; mother Evelyn Konno; father Ford Konno, and sister Bonnie Shishido. Services: 7 p.m. tomorrow at Holy Trinity Church, Kalanianaole Hwy. Casual attire. No flowers.

Stanley K. Pua, 48, of Kaneohe, a former City & County Refuse Dept. employee at Kapaa Quarry, died Feb. 19 in Kaiser Foundation Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Wendy Kapeliela; daughter Stacie-Lyne; mother Rev. Mary K.; brothers James, Charles and Daniel Pua, Luke Abraham, David Kumai and Jonathan Kumai, and sisters Victoria "Picita" Lum and Esther Quon. Services: Noon Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Mabel T. Sakai, 86, of Aiea, a former teacher, died Feb. 10 in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Sharon K. Reyes and Pamela L. Waki; brother George Fukuda; sisters Mildred Katsumoto and Hazel Yamase, and three grandchildren. Services were private.

Roy E. Yogi, 72, of Tulsa, Okla., a retired financial analyst, died Feb. 12 in Oklahoma. He was born in Mountain View, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Macksyne; sons Roy Jr. and Ricky; daughters Linda Howard and Peggy Robertson; sister Anna Hu, and one grandchild. Services held.
