Rogelio S. Bumanglag, 58, of Honolulu, a steward for Hilton Hawaiian Village with 21 years of service, died Jan. 26 in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Loreta C.; daughter Charina; son Lester; brothers Dominado and Jovencio, and sisters Carlina Batoon, Celerina Tanchoco, Teresita La Porte and Rosario Bumanglag. Quentin R. Bowman, 28, of Lahaina, a chef and divemaster, will be remembered in services on the mainland. He died Feb. 2 when his bicycle crashed into a pineapple truck on Honapiilani Highway in West Maui. He was born in Normal, Ill. He is survived by parents Quentin A. and Lois; brothers Robert Bowman and Jon and Donald Kaufman, and sisters Susan Busse and Pat Faiella.

Jean K.L.P. Chang, 76, of Honolulu, a Bank of Hawaii retiree, died Wednesday at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Walter K.; son Wayne C.; daughter Doreen W.; sister Annie Young; and six grandchildren. Memorial services: 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1404 University Ave. Casual attire. No flowers.

Mabel K.T. Choy, 66, of Mililani Town, a former teacher, died Thursday at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Teresa A. Takigawa, Mary J. Ford, Patricia D. Nixon and Donna M. Benzon; sisters Frances Wun and Rita Tang, and 10 grandchildren. Prayer services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Call after 8:30 a.m. Burial: Mililani Memorial Park. Violet M. Fujinaka, 102, of Honolulu died Feb. 4 at home. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan. She is survived by son Max G.; daughters Hazel K. Hedani, Betty C. Torigoe, Alice Y. Saito, Jeanne E. Kato, Grace H. Sasaki and Francine;15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Phyllis "Kau'ionalani" Greene, 53, of Waimanalo, a kumu hula auwana and lead dancer for Na Hula O Puamana and former manager at Smitty's restaurant in Kailua, died Tuesday in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert E.; children Alfred "Keoki' Emond, Elizabeth "E" Soares and Daniel O. Reed Jr.; stepson Christopher L.; sisters Mildred Namoku-Calizo and Raenette "Kuulei" Namoku; brother Michael M. Namoku; and seven grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Abraham "Junior" Isaac, also known as Arthur Palakiko, 61, of Waimanalo, a retired truck driver and state electrician, died Tuesday in Kailua. He was born in Wailuku. He is survived by wife Sarah "Muriel"; children Jeremiah, Timothy and Darlene Kalua, Corinthians McNulty, Chronicles Encog, Joshua and Pikake Keaweehu and Bernadette K. Martinez; brothers Larry and Humphrey Palakiko; several other brothers and sisters, 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Louise K. "Tina" Kaimimoku, 68, of Honolulu, a retired factory worker for Dole Pineapple Co., died Wednesday in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Al and brother Dean Kipi. Private services.

Nedenia N. Krech, 66, died Feb. 1. She is survived by husband Raymond; children Richard and Neal Nunes, Donna Longtin and Tammy Stafke; mother Lillian Nunes; brother Walter Nunes Jr., and 17 grandchildren. Services on the mainland.

Hattie K.H. Lau, 91, of Hilo died Wednesday in the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Paauhau, Honokaa. She is survived by sons Charles and Hartwell Hall and Randall Lau; daughters Ellen Vasconcellos, Blanche Onuma, Betty Benevides, Priscella Kaaukai and Alice Shiroma; hanai son Hongie Wong; 30 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Antonio R. Mababa, 87, of Ewa Beach, a retired pineapple researcher for Dole Corp., died Wednesday. He was born in the Philippines. Ethiel C. Sasaki, 87, of Honolulu, a retired sales supervisor for Liberty House at Kahala Mall and retired co-owner of Moiliili Market Ltd., died Saturday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honomu, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Kanrad and Arthur; daughters Hellenne Tsuda and Joannie Miyahara; sister Betty Ayabe, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sasae K. Takami, 101, of Honolulu died Feb. 3 in the Kuakini Geriatric Care Inc. She was born in Tamana Gun, Kumamoto, Japan. She is survived by daughters Elsie A. Deweese, Emi T. Kuniyuki, Rei T. Hamaro and Sumie T. Mizushima; brother Masanori Kitahara, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Private services.

Shoyei Tamayose, 86, of Kahului, Maui, retired owner of No Ka Oi Products, died Jan. 23 in Hale Makua in Wailuku. He was born in Spreckelsville, Maui. He is survived by son Alan; daughter Vera; brothers Masa, Nobu and Yasu; sisters Nancy Yamashita and Eleanor Nariyoshi, and three grandchildren. Yoshimi "Bessie" Takehara, 81, of Kahului died Friday in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Keahua, Maui.
