Star-Bulletin staff

Brigham Young-Hawaii's Petra Gaspar and Tagifano So'onalole moved to the semifinals of the Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Tennis Championships by winning two doubles matches yesterday -- a 7-5, 6-4 defeat of Ohio State's Kristy Dascoli and Monica Rincon, and a 6-1, 6-3 win over Old Dominion's Nataly Cahana and Anna Radeljevic.

Today, Gaspar and So'onalole play Stanford's Laura Granville and Gabriela Lastra.

Final Pro Tour round today

Despite a five-stroke lead heading into yesterday's third round, Alan Zimmerman will have to fight for a victory in today's final round at the Pro Tour Hawaii tournament at the Big Island Country Club.

Zimmerman leads North Carolina's Jim Johnson by just one stroke. Six golfers are within five strokes of Zimmerman.
