Bullet Keys -- The series is really about both teams showing improvement over last week. The Rainbows have just one more week to be ready for WAC competition. UCLA is a quality program from a tough conference and will provide the Rainbows with a good measuring stick.

Bullet Also of note -- The Bruins lost their season opener to UC Riverside, 10-6, when the Highlanders scored four runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth. ... The last four series between the teams have been sweeps. UCLA won all three games in 1997 and 2000 while the Rainbows swept three-game series in 1998 and 1999.
