UH volleyball ticket sale

Individual game tickets for the University of Hawaii men's volleyball season will go on sale tomorrow at the Stan Sheriff Center box office and at Ticket Plus outlets.

Ticket prices range from $6-$9 for upper level to $12 for lower level.

The Rainbows face an alumni squad Saturday at the Sheriff Center at 5 p.m. UH opens the season Jan. 10 against Lewis University. UH Athletics Web

Maui Marathon on tap

The 31st annual Maui Marathon will be held Sunday, March 18.

Only 600 more entries will be accepted for the race, which is limited to 3,200 participants. There is $10,700 in prize money awarded.

Applications are available at all Maui Tacos locations, Kaahumanu Center's Guest Service Desk, The Sports Authority, Speedo, Lady Footlocker,Footlocker Kaahumanu Center and Lahaina Cannery or on the Internet at www.mauimarathon.com.

A record number of participants is expected for the companion Maui Tacos 5K Fun Run/Walk. The race will be held on Saturday, March 17 along a new course that begins and ends at Whalers Village in Kaanapali.

Applications are available at all Maui Tacos locations, Kaahumanu Center Guest Service Desk and the Maui Marathon Web site.
