Susana C. Barbadillo, 53, of Honolulu died Dec. 24 in St. Francis Medical Center Liliha. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by sons Roy C. and Allan C.; daughter Leilani; sisters Edna Castillo and Evelyn Castillo, and three grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday in California. Burial to follow.

Gladys M.L. Chung, 94, of Honolulu died Dec. 15 in Hale Nani Nursing Home. She was born in Honolulu. Private services.

Julia Garcia, 86, of Waipahu, died Dec. 25 in St. Francis Medical Center West. She was born in Ewa. She is survived by sons John S. Jr. and Richard Garcia and Robert Gurley; daughters Roseline Tavares and Lolita Leonard; brothers Frank, James, William, David and Steven Millan; sisters Lucy Freitas, Mary Supebedia, Bernice Millan, Fina Pinto and Lola Millan; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 94-1260 Lumikula St. Call after 9 a.m. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park. Casual attire.

Richard J. "Dick" Himell, 65, of Kaneohe, died Sunday. He was born in Worcestire, Mass. He is survived by daughter Monique Lau; son Michael, and four grandchildren. Private services. Memorial donations suggested to Hospice Hawaii.

Kiyoshi Izumi, 87, of Hilo, a retired house painter at Oahu Painting, Inc., died Dec. 23 in the Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Onomea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Nobuko and son Herbert. Services were private. No monetary donations.

Toshiko N. Kuwabara, 95, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died Dec. 23 in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Japan. She is survived by sons Edward, Philip and Dr. Dennis; daughter Mildred Nakagawa; brothers Akira Nakashima and Hisashi Nakashima, 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Lenore S. "Libby" Mueller, 80, of Honolulu, a retired employee at Carol and Mary's department store, died Wednesday at home. She was born in Akron, Ohio. No services. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Chuichi Nagata, 85, of Mountain. View, Hawaii, the retired owner/driver of C. Nagata Bus Service, died Friday in the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pahoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Toshie "Ruth"; sons Don and Clayton; brother Roy T., and sister Chieko Nakamura. Services: 5 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Call after 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. No flowers.

Elizabeth A. "Aunty Alice" Reimer, 71, of Waikoloa, Hawaii, the retired owner of Aunty Alice Bakery, died Wednesday at home. She was born in Canada. She is survived by husband Daniel; son Dale B.; daughters Sharon Neufeld and Shannon Haider, and eight grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Kona Church of the Nazarene. Casual attire. No flowers.

Lawrence Rose, 67, of Waianae, died Dec. 24 in St. Francis Medical Center West. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Thomas, Edward, Patrick and Robert Rose and Guy Lopez; daughters Alicia Rose and Laura-Ann Napierala; brother Edward Jr.; sisters Bernadette Downey and Nani McEnore, 29 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services: 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Makaha Ward, Waianae Chapel. Call after 5 p.m. Cremation to follow. Ashes to be scattered Jan. 7 at 9:30 a.m. off Pokai Bay Beach Park. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Florence H. Spencer, 64, of Waimanalo died Tuesday in Kahuku Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Joshua M. "Bud" and Nathan K.; daughters Priscilla N. "Cilla" Spencer, Florence H. "Hii" Wurtsbaugh and Virginia K. "Puni" Cash; brothers Alfred L. Torres and Nolan C. Ramirez; hanai brother John Orsini; sisters Lorraine K. Lundberg, Janice J. "Jan" Rowan, Evalani N. Pero, Geraldine K. "Geri" Ramirez and Yvonne "Bonnie" Rill, 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. John N. Takai, 84, of Honolulu, a retired bus driver at MTL/The Bus, died Dec. 25 in Kuakini Geriatric Care. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Evelyn S.; son Daniel S.; daughter Dayle N. Kobashigawa, and two grandchildren. Services were private.
