If you believe that pets are part of the family -- and which pet owner doesn't -- then a present for the pooch is a necessity at Christmas.

In come Canine Cots, portables bed for Fido, that can be disassembled to carry to the beach or to sleepovers. The frame is made of PVC piping; the quilted Hawaiian-print fabric platform is a washable poly-cotton blend that comes in light and dark blue, red and purple. Also included is a matching carrying bag.

Canine Cots are said to prevent elbow calluses and keep dogs cooler as air circulates beneath the elevated platform.
