Elam kicks
Broncos to win

Former University of Hawaii kicker Jason Elam kicked a 26-yard field goal and had five extra points for Denver in the Broncos' 38-37 victory over San Diego.

Elam kicked the game-winning extra point after Ed McCaffrey caught a touchdown pass from Gus Frerotte to tie the score at 37.

It was the second game-winning kick in six days for Elam, who booted a 41-yard field goal to beat the Raiders, 27-24, last Monday.

Bullet Defensive lineman Ma'a Tanuvasa (Mililani High, Hawaii) had one assisted tackle for the Broncos.

Bullet Only two games back from the injured list, Chicago Bears center Olin Kreutz (St. Louis School, Washington) sprained his right knee in the first half of a 13-10 victory over Tampa Bay.

Bullet Molokai's Kimo von Oelfhoffen had one solo and one assisted tackle at nose tackle for Pittsburgh in the Steelers' loss to Jacksonville.
