For the holidays

26th Annual Turkey Trot

7:30 a.m. Thursday, beginning and ending at Queen Kapiolani Regional Park. Runners will start on Paki Avenue near Monsarrat Avenue, continue once around the park, along Diamond Head Road, then proceed on 22nd, Kilauea, Kealaolu and Kahala avenues to Diamond Head Road, then on Kalakaua Avenue to the finish line.

Christmas Parades

Bullet Liliha-Palama: 5:30 p.m. Friday from the United Church of Christ at Judd and Liliha streets, down Liliha Street, right on North King Street and ending at Kohou Street.

Bullet Kalihi: 6:30 p.m. Friday from Kalihi Union Church on North King Street to Mokauea Street and along Dillingham Boulevard, Waiakamilo Road, Houghtailing and North School streets to Kamehameha Shopping Center.

Bullet Waikiki: 7 p.m. Friday from Ft. DeRussy, along Kalakaua Avenue to the Honolulu Zoo. Also, Toys for Tots will have a motorcade, 10 a.m. Sunday from Ala Moana Beach Park, along Roosevelt Gates via Ala Moana, Kalakaua and Monsarrat avenues to the Waikiki Shell overflow parking lot.

Bullet Waianae: 10 a.m. Saturday from the Waianae Boat Harbor, along Farrington Highway and Old Government Road to Waianae Shopping Mall.

Bullet Hawaii Kai: 10 a.m. Saturday from Kamailoiki Park, along Lunalilo Home Road to Koko Marina Shopping Center.
