H-1 ramps, lanes to be
closed from tomorrow
to Thursday

Here are the H-1 freeway closings and restrictions because of work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. tomorrow to Thursday:
Lane and shoulder closings on Vineyard on-ramp and on Lunalilo, Magellan and Kinalau streets for barrier work.
Piikoi on-ramp closing for barrier work. The Piikoi on-ramp to eastbound H-1 lanes also will be closed tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for barrier and striping work.
Lane closures for bridge joint replacement work at Kapiolani Interchange structures.
Lane closures at the Ward Overpass for abutment work.
Lane closures for seismic retrofit work in the vicinity of the Kinau offramp.
Lane and ramp closures for barrier work at Wilder Avenue offramp and from Punahou Street on-ramp to Keeaumoku Street.
H-1 work will go on Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The following restrictions will apply:
Lane and shoulder closings at Kapiolani offramp for guardrail work.
Lane, shoulder and sidewalk closings for highway lighting and traffic signal work on Lunalilo Street.
Lane and sidewalk closings for curb ramp construction on Lunalilo Street.
Waterline work requires Keeaumoku Street lane closings with no access to Lunalilo Street from Keeaumoku Street, and Lunalilo Street lane closures and detours. Access for local traffic will be provided.
Lunalilo offramp from westbound H-1 lanes will close for waterline work.
The state Department of Transportation advises motorists to anticipate delays, allow extra travel time, exercise caution near work sites or take alternate routes.
