Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii
Pikachu and Burger King's Kid Vid were among
the costumed characters at last year's breakfast.

Santa’s buddies on hand

One holiday down, turkey's on the way, and so are Winnie-the-Pooh, and his buddies Piglet and Tigger, who are scheduled to join Santa for breakfast with hundreds of Hawaii keiki Dec. 2.

Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii's 14th Annual "Breakfast with Santa" fund-raiser will take place at the Hawai'i Convention Center Exhibition Hall from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 for breakfast, a photo with Santa and a Christmas goody bag.

Pooh and pals will be joined by Tweety, Barney, Elmo and Mickey Mouse, among others. The costumed characters will be there to pose and play with keiki, who also can participate in games and face painting.

Entertainment will be provided by Ben Vegas, Imua, storyteller Dave Delrocko and Halau Hula O Nalei O Kamakani.

Proceeds support Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii, which works to end child abuse through education and advocacy.

For tickets or more information, call 591-3588.
