Dancers from Moscow will perform in two
concerts at Hawaii Theatre.



Russian ballet stars
dance in Honolulu

Dancers from the Bolshoi Ballet, Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet and Moscow Classical Ballet will perform as "Ballet Stars of Moscow" tomorrow and Saturday at the Hawaii Theatre.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. and will include Schubert's "Evening Dance," "Rose Adagio" from Tchaikovsky's "The Sleeping Beauty," and "Yiddish Moment," among other pieces. Bolshoi ballet master Shamil Yagudin is artistic director for the troupe.

Tickets, $20, $35 and $50, may be purchased at the Hawaii Theatre Box Office, military outlets and Ticket Plus. To charge by phone, call 528-0506. Student tickets will be available for $10 for tomorrow's show only. A school ID is required for purchase, which must be made in person at the box office.

Yagudin also is offering a free ballet workshop on the beach in front of Hilton Hawaiian Village 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. No registration is required to participate. Call the Hilton's social director at 949-4321 for more information.
