Llewellyn Aloiau, also known as "Frank" or "Wong," 74, of St. George, Utah, formerly of Honolulu, a former tugboat captain, died Aug. 7. He was also co-owner of L&L Drive Inn in Windward City Shopping Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Brenda; son Michael C.; daughters Lea Ann Reynolds, Monica Castro and Melody Hayase; brothers Harold and Richard, and three grandchildren. Joaquin B. Aquino, 88, of Honolulu, a retired marine machinist for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 38, died Aug. 24 in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Santa Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Victoria R.; sons Joaquin R. "Joe," Robert "Bobby," Norman R., Wendell R. and Vernon R.; daughter Lorna Sabol; sisters Dolores and Juana, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
