University of Hawaii wide receivers coach Ron Lee remained hospitalized today after suffering a mild heart attack Monday.

Lee, 56, was admitted to Straub Hospital on Monday.

"He (Lee) asked that we not say anything,'' Warriors coach June Jones said last night.

Lee was hired as an assistant coach at UH last season. He spent the previous seven seasons as the offensive coordinator at St. Louis School, where his brother, Cal, is the head coach.

Before that, Lee was the offensive coordinator at Oregon Tech (1989-91), a graduate assistant at UH (1988), and the offensive coordinator at St. Louis (1983-88) and Willamette University (1982).

Lee began his career at Kalani High School as the head coach of the Falcons (1969) and then at Kaiser (1973-81).
