Ceramics firing demonstrations will be part of the opening of an exhibition from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Laniakea YWCA on Richards Street.

Participants may glaze a piece and have it fired during the demonstrations.

"Drawn to the Flame" will display raku works by members of the Toshiko Kakaezu Ceramic Studio.

The exhibit will continue through Aug. 25. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There also will be a pottery sale from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 24 and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 25. Admission is free.
