Honolulu police received at least 20 calls about gunshots or fireworks near the Heritage House condominium Monday morning when Peter H. Takeda, 38, and Gerven C. Sorino, 25, allegedly fired dozens of shots from Takeda's sixth-floor apartment in the building.

Police released 911 tapes from the shooting yesterday.

"The shots went off again and I do think it is someone in my building because somebody, uh, they're aiming at someone in my building because someone came out and yelled knock it off and then whoever is out there just started laughing his head off," one caller told dispatchers.

Some of the callers thought the gunshots were kids playing with firecrackers.

"I thought it was firecrackers before but the way, the way it's being repeated going off pow, pow, pow, pow, it really sounds like gunshots to me," said another caller. "I hope the officers aren't visible. I hope they can sort of keep under cover and not be seen because if the guy, if he see 'em ... someone could be in danger," the caller continued.

Meanwhile, Takeda and Sorino were scheduled to appear in court today for a preliminary hearing. They are facing five counts of first-degree attempted murder, use of a firearm in commission of a crime, felon in possession of firearm and felon in possession of ammunition.

If convicted of first degree attempted murder, they could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Police believe Takeda fired from 75 to "the low hundreds" of rounds from his sixth-floor unit at The Heritage House condominiums, 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive, into the walls, doors and at responding police officers.

Nine bullets were found lodged in a neighbor's unit, where a boy was sitting in a reclining chair. The boy heard a bullet "whiz" past his head, and bullets hit the television, which was about four to five feet away from the boy, police said. Twenty-six bullet holes were found in Takeda's door.

Two handguns were recovered by police -- a .38 revolver and a .25-caliber handgun. One was reported stolen in 1996; the other was not registered.

Standing by.
Caller: (unintelligible) echoing throughout the two buildings over here. I can't say.
Dispatcher: OK, 10-4.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Yes, I called earlier tonight to report something that sounded like gunshots.
Dispatcher: Yes.
Caller: It's repeating again.
Dispatcher: It just started back up again?
Caller: Yah. And it's been up, it's at 6750 Hawaii Kai Drive or behind this building some...
Dispatcher: Yah, and the officers were looking. Even the sergeant was looking and they could hear it echoing but they couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: How many more did you hear?
Caller: About five more again. Just happened.
Dispatcher: Did you want to meet with an officer? You can kind of explain to him where you're hearing it from?
Caller: It's just right behind the building. I can't explain anymore but if they want to that's OK.
Dispatcher: OK, well I'll send officers back out but they did look. They were a bunch of them looking and I (unintelligible) even the sergeant said, he heard them echoing between buildings but they couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
Caller: OK, well I just want to let you know.
Dispatcher: OK, thank you.
Caller: Thank you.
Dispatcher: Bye bye.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Yah, this is the Heritage House. I just heard five shots.
Dispatcher: Coming from what area?
Caller: From 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: Did it sound like coming from outside, in a parking lot or apartment building...
Caller: Sounded like coming from the apartment. From somewhere, yah. There were five shots about one second apart. You must have got some calls before about an hour ago.
Dispatcher: Wait. It was reported about an hour ago?
Caller: Yes.
Dispatcher: Yah, on that one, we found some kids playing with fireworks.
Caller: Well, OK. Well, I just heard five shots.
Dispatcher: Yah. OK, we'll take care of it.
Caller: OK
Dispatcher: Alright.

Dispatcher: Police Department, can I help you?
Caller: Yes, this is at Heritage House in Hawaii Kai. I just heard something that might be gunfire but I don't know if it is or not. I live in the apartment condominium so I can't even direct any more information (untelligable) that's all I can hear.
Dispatcher: What is your address there?
Caller: 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: And how many did you hear ma'am?
Caller: I think four.
Dispatcher: And your name?
----cuts off---
Dispatcher: OK, ma'am all you heard is but you don't know exactly where it's from.
Caller: I can't (unintelligible) tell you where it comes from and there's a parking garage behind us so sometimes there is (unintelligible) reverberate so...
Dispatcher: OK. And did it sound like it was from far away or close by?
Caller: It sounded kind of close by and actually about an hour ago I heard the same thing but it woke me up. I wasn't sure whether that was what I heard but I just heard it again.
Dispatcher: OK, fine. We'll have somebody go check.
Caller: Thank you.
Dispatcher: OK. Bye.
Caller: Bye.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Hi, I want to report some gunshots.
Dispatcher: Where?
Caller: On Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: OK, any specific area?Caller: It's either coming from the (unintelligible) Garden or Heritage House. I think it's more toward (unintelligible) Garden. Somebody just shot five shots now and at about one o'clock this morning they shot like four or five then.
Dispatcher: So about an hour ago?
Caller: Yah and then one more round just now at two o'clock.
Dispatcher: OK. Alright we'll send units. Did you hear any kind of screaming or anything after that?
Caller: No.
Dispatcher: OK. We'll send somebody over.
Caller: Thank you.
Dispatcher: Thank you.
Caller: Bye bye.
Dispatcher: Bye.

Caller: Report some gunfire.
Dispatcher: Ok, where at?
Caller: I'm at 6750 Hawaii Kai Drive. The shots are either coming from my, not so much my unit but I think the unit next to us. Heritage House, I think the name of the place is.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: Yah, the guy must have fired about five or six shots already.
Dispatcher: OK. You said the Heritage House.
Caller: Yah, I think it's from the Heritage House because I looked out my window. I think the shots are coming from the unit right next to us.
Dispatcher: OK, thank you.
Caller: I'm at Naniwa (?) Gardens. I think maybe next door.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Hi, good morning.
Dispatcher: Good morning.
Caller: My name is Darryl and we live over here on the corner of Haihaione and Hawaii Kai Drive in Hawaii Kai.
Dispatcher: Uh huh.
Caller: And for the second time tonight, the first time was at one o'clock and then just again, it sounds like gunshots but I don't know what it is.
Dispatcher: OK, where are the gunshots coming from?
Caller: I can't tell. We live up in the high rise and it just keeps sounding like (fades off)
Dispatcher: OK, because if you cannot give me a better location then I have to send an officer to that intersection.
Caller: Has anyone else called?
Dispatcher: Off hand I wouldn't know without researching it.
Caller: Oh. It's very, very unusual.
Dispatcher: How many shots did you hear?
Caller: This one was rapid. About, I'd say about five. And then at one o'clock it was sporadic but about five I guess, that time too.
Dispatcher: And did you call at one o'clock
Caller: No because I was trying to look out to see if anything was wrong and there wasn't so I (fades off)
Dispatcher: One moment.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: OK. Let me see. OK, yes, we've had other callers.
Caller: Good.
Dispatcher: But
Caller: No one can (fades off)
Dispatcher: No one is really accurate.
Caller: Oh, it's pretty loud so it has to be right around our corner.
Dispatcher: Yah, yah.
Caller: But (unintelligible) we overlook and I can't see anything unusual. I saw some walkers (unintelligible) but (pause) I don't know what else to say.
Dispatcher: Yah, OK.
Caller: Hopefully, there's just (unintelligible) water or something.
Dispatcher: Officers are enroute.
Caller: OK, thank you very much.
Dispatcher: OK, you're welcome. Thanks for calling.

Caller: Hi. Someone is lighting up fireworks in our complex.
Dispatcher: Where? Place and address.
Caller: 5710 Hawaii Kai Drive at the Heritage House.
Dispatcher: OK. What kind of fireworks?
Caller: It just sounds like it's firecrackers or something, you know, something (fades off)
Dispatcher: Bomb type?
Caller: Bomb type, yah.
Dispatcher: OK. Can you tell where?
Caller: Yah, it's coming from the stack that's adjacent to where we live in the complex.
Dispatcher: Stack. What is a stack?
Caller: A stack is gonna be the series of condos that are, you know, for the entire height of the building, so we live in the middle stack which adjoins the end stack of the unit.
Dispatcher: OK, when you say end it's toward which (fades off)
Caller: End is going to be toward the (unintelligible)
Dispatcher: The mountain, ocean?
Caller: It's gonna be, well, no, the back of the building is mauka so it's the front of the building facing toward the ocean. It's gonna be makai side near the pool and it's coming, it's coming to our left and it'll be between the pool and the next condominum complex over (unintelligible) it's in that stack. Someone is either dropping fireworks from above or just setting them off below and running away. I haven't been able to see.
Dispatcher: To tell, yah?
Caller: Yah. But there's no (unintelligible) I, I just, you know, they must have lit two or three off again just now. There's no cars coming by so it's gotta becoming from someplace inside the complex or next door.
Dispatcher: OK, did you want to meet with the officers to, to direct them or just have them check (fades off)
Caller: Well, I mean this is the second time it's happened tonight. I noticed that the property manager was up and was out throwing around (unintelligible) to see if he could see anything.
Dispatcher: Oh, OK. About what time did it happen earlier?
Caller: Earlier? About an hour ago.
Dispatcher: Oh. OK.
Caller: But actually there were some police that drove by a little while ago but they never came into the complex.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: So, but I'm pretty confident that whoever is lighting them is lighting them off either the stack next to ours or between us and the next condominium complex.
Dispatcher: What is your condo complex called?
Caller: It's called the Heritage House.
Dispatcher: Heritage House.
Caller: Yah. 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: OK. The officer has already gone out.
Caller: But I didn't see anybody pull in.
Dispatcher: No, no. They're already on their way out again.
Caller: Oh, OK.
Dispatcher: OK. Just to let you know.
Caller: Yah.
Dispatcher: But at least this time they'll have an address.
Caller: Yah, it's gonna be, like I said, it's gonna be the series of condominums from the ground floor all the way to the top, that stack that is furthest away from the driveway as they come in and it's gonna be the stack that is at the end of the building next to the pool. And so if they park in the guest parking place in the main entrance there, they can walk right down by the pool and the end stack, you know, where they've actually got the, they're painting the building so they'll see the actual equipment hanging there, from that stack. I think it's coming from that stack.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: Alright?
Dispatcher: OK. Thank you so much.
Caller: Bye bye.
Dispatcher: Bye bye.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Hi, there were some kids shooting firecrackers off again.
Dispatcher: Uh huh.
Caller: In the (unintelligible) Isle. Kumu Kahi Place.
Dispatcher: Is that near Heritage House?
Caller: Yah. Not far from it.
Dispatcher: OK. Did you see them?
Caller: No, I can't tell but I'm pretty sure because the lights are only on and there are a bunch of kids that live at the end of our street here. As the police come in there are two houses straight on and it's the one to the left.
Dispatcher: OK, because we just had a caller from Heritage House give us directions to where the kids are or whoever it is setting it off.
Caller: Oh, OK.
Dispatcher: So before I change the location I want to be sure I'm not sending the officers to the wrong place.
Caller: OK. Well, if they can see them then even better but I'm almost certain it's these kids because there is no one else (fades off)
Dispatcher: OK, why don't I just have the information in to (unintelligible)
Caller: OK and they were doing this about an hour ago too.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: There it is. They've stopped. They just come and then they start all over again.
Dispatcher: Oh, I see. OK.
Caller: What we need is for a car (unintelligible)
Dispatcher: OK, so the kids are in the middle of the block?
Caller: As you come down into . . . Isle and it's in a U-shape, the two houses, you know that the road comes into, there are two houses there, the one to the left of that.
Dispatcher: OK, how do you spell that road name?
Caller: K-u-m-u-k-a-h-i.
Dispatcher: And about the center house between the beginning and the end?
Caller: (unintelligible) No, it's as they come straight onto, you know there is a little bridge that comes onto the island here.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: There are two houses right there as they sit at the stop sign, facing them it'll be the one to the left.
Dispatcher: So, right after past the bridge (fades off)
Caller: At the stop sign.
Dispatcher: Go to the stop sign?
Caller: Well, that's the only way that they can go.
Dispatcher: And then straight ahead?
Caller: And straight ahead there are two houses and it's the one to the left. And it's got lights on and there are kids there. They usually have parties, you know, (unintelligible)
Dispatcher: It's the second house on the left side. OK. OK. We'll check that out.
Caller: OK. I appreciate it. Thanks very much.
Dispatcher: OK. They'll find there may be more than, more than just one (fades off)
Caller: Oh.
Dispatcher: So, we'll have the officer go look and check all these different locations.
Caller: OK, great. Well this is the second time it seems same direction over here and it was an hour ago exactly.
Dispatcher: Yah. Thats what I've, thats what I've heard other people say about an hour ago ithappened.
Caller: Oh, OK.
Dispatcher: But these were people who are calling saying they hear gunshots.
Caller: Oh, yah.
Dispatcher: Yah.
Caller: They're at Heritage House and they're a little farther away than we are here and they're right here on the water.
Dispatcher: Yah. And Heritage House one, the guy that called said no, it's definitely fireworks.
Caller: Yah.
Dispatcher: Yah.
Caller: Yah. It's definitely fireworks.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: Thank you.
Caller: I appreciate it. Thanks. Bye.
Dispatcher: Bye.

Caller: Yah, I don't know if you've had reports or not in Hawaii Kai (unintelligible) shots.
Dispatcher: Where in Hawaii Kai?
Caller: Near the plaza, 6770 Hawaii Kai Blvd.
Dispatcher: Hawaii Kai Drive?
Caller: Yah, Hawaii Kai Drive. I'm sorry.
Dispatcher: And can you tell which direction it's coming from? Are you at that address?
Caller: Yah, I'm at the address. It's not right here. It's a little bit away. It sounds more like it's toward the Arco station that's on Hawaii Kai Drive. Now, at one o'clock there were five shots and I'm sure they're shots. It sounds like a large .357 magnum, not firecrackers.
Dispatcher: OK. You're at (unintelligible)
Caller: Just now, five more, within one or two seconds of each other.
Dispatcher: OK, you're familiar with firearms?
Caller: I'm familiar with firearms.
Dispatcher: OK, no, I'm just asking.
Caller: Yah and I appreciate it. I let the first five go thinking somebody else would call but I didn't hear any, anything at all. No, it does not sound like firecrackers at all. It sounds like a very heavy, heavy
Dispatcher: Heavy calibur.
Caller: Heavy calibur. A pistol sounds a lot more loud than a rifle anyway.
Dispatcher: OK, sounds like you have some kind military background or something.
Caller: Well, done a lot of hunting in Utah.
Dispatcher: Uh huh, OK. Well, we like to know, you know, because since you have some familiarity with it then we put a little more weight than if someone who just doesn't know firearms.
Caller: The first, the first five I let go. The first five it was almost like a crash that woke me up at 1, 1:02 actually in the morning. And then within the space of another, oh I don't know, five, no 20 seconds, the other four. This one was almost bang, bang, bang, you know, almost within a second or two of each other.
Dispatcher: OK. The second round was about what time?
Caller: Well, the second group was just three or four minutes ago.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: Yah.
Dispatcher: OK, we will send couple units over there to check the area.
Caller: Well, I'm looking out, I don't see anything.
Dispatcher: OK, thank you very much for calling sir.
Caller: Listen, by the way, the last couple of nights I've heard one or two also.
Dispatcher: Uh huh.
Caller: Not just tonight so I don't know. But anyway, thanks.
Dispatcher: OK, thank you very much. Bye bye.

Caller: Five more shots I'm at Heritage House on Hawaii Kai Drive. Five more shots and some woman screaming.
Dispatcher: OK, we'll have it checked again ma'am.
Caller: Oh my gosh, this is terrible.
Dispatcher: OK, we'll have it checked.

Dispatcher: Come in.
Caller: Yes, I live in Hawaii Kai.
Dispatcher: Uh. huh.
Caller: And I just heard some shots being fired. There were about four.
Dispatcher: OK, hold on one moment.
Caller: Maybe five.
Dispatcher: Hold on. OK, what addres are you at?
Caller: I'm at 279 Ainahou but I don't know where they came from.
Dispatcher: Yah, but you're hearing it from your address, 279 Ainahou, right?
Caller: Right.
Dispatcher: You can hear it from there?
Caller: Yes. We are in kind of a valley so I don't know where it came from.
Dispatcher: Yah. We've been getting reports on them for the last hour and a half but the officers can't pinpoint where it's coming from. How many shots did you hear?
Caller: Well about four or five perhaps. I can't remember whether there was one first and then three, or two first and then three. You know, it sounded like a bang (pause) bang, bang, bang or maybe it was bang, bang (pause) then bang, bang, bang.
Dispatcher: Yah. We've been receiving calls for like the last hour and a half, almost two hours but the officers have gone and they can't pinpoint where it's coming from.
Caller: OK. I just thought I'd let you know.
Dispatcher: Thank you. Bye bye.
Caller: Bye bye.

Dispatcher: Police Department, may I help you?
Caller: Hi, I'm hearing gunshots in Hawaii Kai.
Dispatcher: OK, where about?
Caller: It sounds like it's near Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: OK.
Caller: Yah, this is like the third time. I called once at like 1:05 and I saw the police over near my house here but then I don't know what they're doing but I guess maybe they couldn't find anything and then they must have left and then it was like an hour, it was like at 2:05 I heard it again right over by my house where the police were, were sitting on the bridge.
Dispatcher: Alright. OK, because somebody, we had a lot of calls and I did (unintelligible) check and a female said it was fireworks and it was right around that bridge area because they were launching that area there.
Caller: There's fireworks?
Dispatcher: That's what the lady said and the officers did (unintelligible) a case.
Caller: Have they seen anyone?
Dispatcher: I have no idea, ma'am. I'm not out there and I don't know.
Caller: Well because I'm hearing it again.
Dispatcher: OK, but I'll let them know.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: OK?
Caller: Thanks.
Dispatcher: Thank you. Bye.

Dispatcher: Police Department, can I help you?
Caller: Yes, I'd like to complain about someone just shooting off firecrackers. Sounded like at least four maybe five loud bangs and I was on Ainohou Street but our bedroom is facing the water across from Hancock Landing and it kind of echoes so I can't tell you exactly where it came from.
Dispatcher: This is in Hawaii Kai?
Caller: Yes.
Dispatcher: We have officers already out checking for it ma'am.
Caller: Oh, we do?
Dispatcher: Yah. We had about 20 calls on it.
Caller: I did hear something earlier but this happened just two minutes ago. About four or five bangs.
Dispatcher: Yah, OK.
Caller: Oh, OK.
Dispatcher: Yep.
Caller: Thank you.
Dispatcher: OK, bye.
Caller: Bye.

Dispatcher: May I help you?
Caller: Yah, the shots went off again and I do think it is someone in my building because somebody, uh, they're aiming at someone in my building because someone came out and yelled knock it off and then whoever is out there just started laughing his head off.
Dispatcher: OK, hold on. Five more shots. And someone came out from your building.
Caller: I don't think it, well, I, actually it was like a couple shots and then a series of really rapid shots.
Dispatcher: Um hmmm.
Caller: And then I heard someone yell knock it off. I'm assuming someone inside my building and someone on the outside laughing his head off and howling in response. So it's at 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive and I wonder if it's somebody near my apartment that they're aiming at because I was out on my lanai earlier tonight tiling and I could hear these two guys talking, they were swearing a lot. One of them kept yelling go to bed Michael, you know, I think it was Michael, and they kept doing that the whole time I was out on the porch.
Dispatcher: OK, I'll let the officers know but they have gone several times in the last hour and a half and they can't pinpoint where it's coming from and some people are reporting it as bomb-type firecrackers. I'll let them know though. We've just been receiving calls again.
Caller: Well, I could be wrong. It's just very loud.
Dispatcher: OK, I'll let them know.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: Thank you. Bye bye.

Dispatcher: Police Department, may I help you?
Caller: Yes, I live at the Lanilua (?) in Hawaii Kai and I just heard a package of two separate things that sound like five gunshots and then I think about three or four minutes later another three or four. It was about 10 minutes ago. I thought we'd see the police come up here and investigate but it doesn't appear that that's happened.
Dispatcher: Well, we have our officers up there checking around now.
Caller: Yah, OK.
Dispatcher: Yah. Right now we're checking the Handcock Landing area.
Caller: The what?
Dispatcher: The Handcock Landing area.
Caller: Handcock Landing area?
Dispatcher: It's by the marina I guess.
Caller: I see. OK. Well, I just heard them and I didn't notice anybody investigating. I didn't know (fades off)
Dispatcher: The officers are checking for it.
Caller: OK, very good.
Dispatcher: OK, bye.

Dispatcher: Police Department
Caller: Yes. (cutoff) condominium on Hawaii Kai Drive and we're hearing a lot of gunshots here. Some guy is, I'm pretty sure it's gunshots now. I thought it was firecrackers before but the way, the way it's being repeated going off pow, pow, pow, pow, it really sounds like gunshots to me. And I'm on the board of directors here and I've talked with one of the managers and I know he's out walking around the building and I am a bit concerned. The first one I thought it was firecrackers, you know, someone pulling a joke, but I think its a lot more. Maybe someone's been drinking or something. I don't know.
Dispatcher: OK, we have officers out there looking right now.
Caller: The first few times it sounded like it was coming from the front of the building. I hope the officers aren't visible. I hope they can sort of keep under cover and not be seen because if the guy, if he sees em and he won't repeat the thing or someone could be in danger.
Dispatcher: OK, and you're at 6710 Hawaii Kai Drive.
Caller: Yes I am.
Dispatcher: OK, we called the officer.

Caller: Hi, I've called before this. I live on Hawaii Kai Drive and there are still shots being fired over here. I just heard the third set of shots tonight.
Dispatcher: Yes the officers are aware of it. They cannot pinpoint where it's coming from.
Caller: I think it's coming from our parking garage and I could have told them before but the person hung up on me when I called.
Dispatcher: OK, hold on. What is your last name?
Caller: (cutoff name) and I live in Heritage House which is at 1602 Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: OK, because they checked out the Heritage House.
Caller: Yah, I watched the cops with my binoculars from my window and he never even came up the driveway. He stayed on the street on Hawaii Kai Drive.
Dispatcher: Well, you must have seen a different officer ma'am because the whole sector was there and the sergeant. They've been looking for almost two hours. Hold on one second.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: OK, I'm gonna give the officers that information however, we've had callers that can actually see the fireworks that are coming from the island. (unintelligible) Island.
Caller: What island?
Dispatcher: It's (unintelligible) Island. (unintelligible) Place.
Caller: I don't know where that is.
Dispatcher: (unintelligible) Island and its been going off since one o'clock this morning.
Caller: Oh, OK.
Dispatcher: That's probably what you're hearing but the officers have been looking and its not just one officer, its the whole area and the sergeant.
Caller: Alright.
Dispatcher: And they've gone extently around (fades off)
Caller: Yah. I live on the 15th floor and I haven't been able to sleep since this happened. I see three different police cars right now but I never have seen anybody come up our driveway into our parking garage.
Dispatcher: Do you want to meet with an officer?
Caller: No, but I think that's where it's coming from. I don't know if they've been back there.
Dispatcher: Is it a secure parking garage?
Caller: It is, yes.
Dispatcher: OK, so how do you expect the officer to get in?
Caller: Well one of the people from our building I saw walk down to the street and talk to the officer. The officer was standing on Hawaii Kai Drive outside his white, Jeep Cherokee and he didn't walk up the driveway with the guy that lives here.
Dispatcher: OK, well I'll let them know.
Caller: OK.
Dispatcher: Do you guys have a resident manager?
Caller: We do. He's on the first floor and there is a button before they get to the secured parking garage there's, you know, one of those speaker phone things.
Dispatcher: Uh huh.
Caller: And there's a button for the resident manager and he's up because I've called him twice.
Dispatcher: OK, I'll let them know.
Caller: Thank you.
Dispatcher: Uh huh. Bye bye.

Dispatcher: Police, may I help you?
Caller: Yah. I'm reporting some more gunshots that have just occurred.
Dispatcher: OK, where is this?
Caller: This is on Hawaii Kai Drive. I'm at the plaza, 6770 Hawaii Kai Drive and this seems to be right out in the front. Very, very loud, heavy calibur pistol shots. Five of them with the space of maybe five seconds . . . . This is the third time tonight.
Dispatcher: OK, what is your name?
Caller: (cutoff name)
Dispatcher: Alright Jerry and you're at 6770, 6770 Hawaii Kai Drive. OK, is there an apartment number?
Caller: (cutoff number)
Dispatcher: OK and will you meet with my officer?
Caller: I'm sorry, I'm having trouble hearing (unintelligible)
Dispatcher: Will you meet with my officer?
Caller: I'd be more than happy to.
