Reclaiming Water

Hawaii's largest waste water recycling project opened yesterday
at the city's new Honouliuli plant, built by US Filter Corp. Michael
Elhoff, president of Hawaii Engineering Services, shows the
ultraviolet disinfection unit, one step in reclaiming what otherwise
would flow to sea. It will help keep golf courses green
and ultimately be used at refineries.
