Landslide on
Round Top

By Ken Ige, Star-Bulletin

The city has halted bus and truck traffic on Round
Top Drive because of a weekend landslide near
Ualakaa State Park. The shoulder fell away when
a landowner removed a wall on private property
downhill from the roadway, according to city
spokeswoman Carol Costa. One lane remains
open while engineers seek a remedy.
