Pamela M. Amiot, 45, of Waipahu, who retired from Jack in the Box, died Friday at home. She was born in Honolulu. Neal Hitchens, 43, formerly of Hawaii, an entertainment reporter, died July 17 in Los Angeles. He was also an author, actor and AIDS activist. He was born in Milford, Delaware. Andrew Kaopuiki, 76, of Lahaina, Maui, a retired elementary school teacher for King Kam Third School in Lahaina, died Wednesday in Hale Makua. He was born in Lanai City.
