Man arrested in Manoa
robbery suspected
in other cases

Shaun Rodrigues, a security systems installer, is a suspect in at least 11 Manoa and Makiki burglaries and robberies, police said.

A gun was used in at least three incidents, police said.

Rodrigues was charged yesterday in the gunpoint robbery and kidnapping of a mother and daughter at their Manoa Valley home Saturday. Bail is set at $100,000.

The Oahu Avenue house that was broken into on Saturday was equipped with an alarm system.
