Fred A. Bianchi, 94, of Hawaii and California, an entomologist at the Experiment Station of the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association, died June 4 in Honolulu. He was born in Guatemala. He is survived by sister Clara. Services and scattering of ashes held.

Elaine L.N. Canon, 64, of Mililani, a retired employee of Queen's Hospital, died Sunday in Queen's Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She was also a kumu hula of Noelani Hula Studio and kumu mele of the Nahenahe Serenaders. She is survived by husband George K.; children Tis'a Kalili Wenzel, Warren Haney Jr., Dwayne Canon, Palmyra Watson and PaulBrina Noelani Canon; sister Myra Tisalona; brothers Francis Kainoa and Leyton K.
