People join hands in a prayer of thanks during the Centennial
Heritage Celebration at Honolulu Hale yesterday. The potluck
reception was sponsored by the United Puerto Rican Association.
It featured Los Cantores de Bayamon, a Puerto Rican singing group,
and Rondalla Nuevas Raices de Puerto Rico, a group of students
who take Puerto Rican music around the world.
The celebration continues this weekend.
