Juan C. Algarin, also known as Blondie Rodrigues, 67, of Waianae, who was retired, died June 18 in Waianae. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Vivian; daughters Lorrie Rodrigues and Jennifer Kaikala; sons Daniel Rodrigues, David and Joseph Algarin, Jason Orig and Herman Keller; brothers Frank, Manuel and Ronald Rodrigues and Franklin Rosa; sisters Shirley Rodrigues, Betty Coombs and Barbara Childers; and 15 grandchildren. Severino M. "Tony" Asuncion, 95, of Waianae, a retired construction worker, died Monday in St. Francis-West Hospital. He was also a farmer. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by sons Robert Asuncion and Albert and Ronald Igarta; daughters Cora Raben and Elaine Reyes; 23 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Delores C. "Dee" Birtodaso, 73, of Mililani died Tuesday in Wahiawa General Hospital. She was born in Lihue. She is survived by husband Eloy; children Sharlene Jeffries, Eloise Kemner and Eloy Birtodaso Jr.; sister Mary Mata; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Jhaylin C.A.M. Clark-Guillermo, infant daughter of Jonathan Guillermo and Jaddine Clark, died June 6. She is also survived by sister Tejhani M. Clark and grandparents Robert and Joyce Clark and Gloria and Ray Julian. Private services.

Guy G. Ferrell, 74, of Honolulu, who retired from the U.S. Navy and Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, died Thursday in Queen's Hospital. He was born in Dallas County, Mo. He is survived by wife Violet "Vi"; son Gary; sister Glenda Buffington; and two grandchildren. Memorial services: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Waiokeola Congregational Church. No flowers. Joseph A.K. "Uncle Joe" Fonseca, 59, of Honolulu, formerly of San Francisco, who retired from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, died June 16 in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. Torao "Tiger" Kawano, 86, of Kahului, Maui, an irrigation supervisor at Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Co., died Thursday in Maui Memorial Hospital. He was veteran of World War II. He was born in Puunene. He is survived by wife Yoshiko; sons Francis, Mel and Gary; brothers Masato, Yoichi and Kenji; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Margaret S. Kekela, 89, of Hilo died yesterday in Hilo Hospital. She was born in Hilo.
