Nations Meet In Waikiki

Members of Lions Club International and 25 bands marched along
Kalakaua Avenue today in the Lions' "Parade of Nations." Above,
near Fort DeRussy, Sanae Katagiri of Toyohashi, Japan, gets
her ukulele signed by Luis Domingo of Spain.

lion toys. The children, are, from left, Leo Urabe, Tylynn Ai,
Lorilynn Miura, Ashlee Ai and Sha-lei Kamauu. The parade
concluded with a food festival and eyeglass collection drive
for the needy at Kapiolani Park. The Lions, whose motto
is "We Serve," are meeting here until Friday.
