THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF
HAWAIIAN LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE

Tapa

Local runners have a fan

Frequent Hawaii visitor and Boston architect Pete Thalman
(in vest at right) opens his home each year to isle runners on the
morning of the Boston Marathon. This year's Hawaii contingent
included members of the Faerber's Flyers women's running club
and their coaches. Faerber Flyers coach "Tesh" Teshima took
this photo in front of Thalman's house.

The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life in the Universe is just that -- we're looking for evidence of Hawaiiana everywhere but Hawaii. Send snapshots and a description to TSFSOHLITU, Today Department, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, P.O. Box 3080, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or email JPEGS to features@starbulletin.com
