Marching for Good Fortune

Chad Maldonado, of Rissho Kosei-Kai of Hawaii, has the honor
of hoisting the Japanese "matoi" during the Matsuuri Parade on
Kalakaua Avenue yesterday. Good luck for the year is supposed
to be brought to those who see the matoi and to those who bear it.
