Dana Ireland HILO -- Dana Ireland murder figure Albert Ian Schweitzer pleaded guilty today to an unrelated charge connected with sexually touching a girl from 1992 to 1994, beginning when the girl was 5 years old.

Schweitzer, 28, was sentenced last month to life in prison plus two 20-year terms for his Dec. 24, 1991, attack on Ireland, 23.

Originally charged in today's case with third-degree sexual assault, touching of a minor, Schweitzer pleaded to misdemeanor fourth-degree sexual assault, touching of any female.

By today's plea, Schweitzer admitted he began fondling the 5-year-old victim in March 1992, three months after Ireland's death.

At sentencing June 27, Schweitzer could receive a maximum term of one year, a period he has already served awaiting trial in the Ireland case.
