Former University of Hawaii basketball player Geremy Robinson said last night he has been offered an $85,000 contract to play with a B division team in Belgium.

"I have the contract and I just have to decide if I want to sign," said Robinson, a reserve the past two seasons for the Rainbows.

Robinson said his hesitation is due to a recent call from an agent who thinks he can get him a National Basketball Association tryout.

"If I have a chance at the NBA, then naturally I'm going to take that," he said.

"I love to penetrate and create on my own and maybe I'll get that chance in the pros," added Robinson, who averaged 7.5 points last season for UH.
