St. Francis stole a page from the Sacred Hearts script last night, upsetting the squad that toppled two top-five girls' basketball teams in the regular season.

The Division II-champion Troubadours (14-1) beat the Lancers (5-8), 37-34, at McCabe Gym in the ILH Tournament to decide who will be the league's third representative in next week's state tournament.

In the night's other game, Maryknoll (4-9) beat University (0-13), 53-36.

St. Francis plays Mid-Pacific (6-6) today at 4:30 p.m. and Maryknoll faces Iolani (8-5) at 6 p.m. The third-place championship game is Friday at 6 p.m. at McCabe Gym.

ST. FRANCIS 37, SACRED HEARTS 34:

Malena Feeney scored on a layup with 27 seconds left to break a 33-33 tie.

Jamila Jarmon pulled down her 14th rebound of the game and threw an outlet pass to Feeney, who scored between three defenders.

The Lancers led 33-28 with 3:29 remaining.

Feeney and Jarmon each scored 13 points to lead St. Francis.

Brittney Aiwohi scored 18 points for Sacred Hearts.
