yesterday as part of its round-the-world trip --
the first for a Japanese tall ship.

Akogare left Osaka on April 9 and will leave Honolulu for San
Francisco on Thursday. It will also sail to Panama; Boston; Halifax,
Nova Scotia; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Le Havre, France;
Lisbon, Portugal; Barcelona, Spain; Piraeus, Greece; Masqat,
Oman and Singapore.
