Up With People is searching for cast members for its traveling music show Friday through April 21.

Young adults ages 17 through 27 will be given the opportunity to spend 11 months traveling the world by living with host families and performing in Up With People's theatrical and music show, and participating in community projects.

Preparation begins with a five-week orientation in Denver, Co.

Up With People representative Ashley Borden will host a reception for interested individuals from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 19 at Hawaii Pacific University, 1164 Bishop St., second floor.

HPU students will be qualified to receive up to 29 credit hours toward their degree by participating in the program.

Since its beginning in 1965, the nonprofit Up With People organization has sent students to more than 3,600 cities in more than 50 countries. For more information or to schedule an interview, call Andrew Meader at 537-3135.
