Belle rings in
her 100th birthday

Belle "Ma" Teves turned 100 March 5, and she put aside her wheelchair and stood up to hula during one of her celebrations. Trudy enjoys her Coffee

United flight attendant Trudy Schandler-Wong and her sister,

Linda Newman, both wore bracelets during the Vietnam war with POW Jerry Coffee's name on them. Recently, she got to meet Coffee when he boarded her flight, and she told him about the bracelets. Coffee took names and addresses of Trudy and her sister. He sends thank you letters to all who supported him during his seven years of captivity. Trudy is president of the La Pietra Parent Faculty Association. Her daughter, Shaaroni Wong, attends the school. Trudy asked Coffee to speak at the school, and he will do so Friday ...

Guests at the outstanding Mystery of the Nile gala last Saturday at the Academy of Arts really got into the spirit as far as colorful costumes were concerned.
