Born in Hoolehua, Molokai, he is survived by wife Inge; sons Matthew Jr. and Castle Adolpho and Luke, Jacob and Isacc Nouri-Adolpho; hanai son Jared Nouri; stepson Leonard Allen; daughters Ada Kiaha, Ellie Ann and Malia Waits; brother Abraham; sisters Blossom Kawaa, Mary Jane Adolpho and Kaipo Mollena; and 13 grandchildren.
