Art Three events will celebrate Girl's Day at Native Books & Beautiful Things on Merchant Street:

Temari instructor Edith Watanabe will demonstrate how to fold paper dolls at noon tomorrow.

Ann Asakura, also of Temari, is displaying a collection of nontraditional dolls through March 3. Asakura collected the dolls for her daughters during her world travels.

A salon-style fashion show featuring the designs of Nake'u Awai will take place at noon on March 1.

The Japanese celebrate Girl's Day on March 3.
