Three kings celebrate

St. John the Baptist Church and the United Puerto Rican
Association presented "El Dia de los Tres Reyes," Three
Kings Day, at the association hall yesterday. In
Spanish-speaking areas, the day is a major
Christmas event. The kings are, from front,
Cole and Tyler Marzan and Edgar Castillo.

Gov. Ben Cayetano congratulates retiring Major General
Edward V. Richardson, adjutant general of Hawaii's
Department of Defense, commander of the Hawaii
National Guard and director of state Civil Defense,
and Richardson's wife, Cecilia, following the
retirement ceremony at Hickam Air Force
Base yesterday.
