Ballroom beginnings

George and Mits Higa of Kaneohe take their very first steps in
ballroom dancing at Ben Parker Elementary School. The Higas
were taking lessons Monday from the Hawaii Ballroom Dance
Association to be ready for a cruise this spring. Also debuting
in the dance were Myrna Zezza and Bill Chung, below.

Zezza and Chung, each from Kaneohe, took their first baby steps
in ballroom under the watchful eye of instructor Alfred Agbayani.
The association teaches beginners every Monday
night at the school.
