Aileen B. Alfonso, 85, of Honokaa, Hawaii, died Monday in Hale Ho'ola Hamakua. She was born in Haina, Hawaii. She is survived by husband William F., son Johnelle, daughter Sharon Toko, brothers Alexander and Amos Botelho and Louis DeRego, and sisters Ida Gouveia, Sue Nelson and Mary Ellen Arruda. Lolita B. "Lita" Batalon, 47, of Waianae, an employee with Marriott Hotel, died Dec. 14 in Kapolei. She was born in Abra, the Philippines. She is survived by husband Hipolito B., son Richie Kyle B., father Hipolito Bisquera, brothers Leopoldo and Leonardo Bisquera, and sister Leonora Bisquera. Manuel P. "Manny" Cabral, 79, of Aiea, a retired sergeant major for the U.S. Army, died Dec. 10 in Aiea. He was also a University of Hawaii ROTC instructor and a real estate agent. He was born in Honolulu. Ambrocia C. De Guzman, 72, of Honolulu, died Dec. 14 in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. Walter H. Ehlers, 87, formerly of Honolulu, died Saturday in Santa Barbara, Calif. He was born in New York City.
