Post office
extends hours

The Christmas season is in full swing, and with it comes packages and other items that have to be mailed.

To accommodate harried Oahu residents, some post offices on the island have instituted special holiday hours.

They are:

Bullet Monday-Friday, Dec. 13-23:

Airport: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Ala Moana: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Downtown: 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Kailua, Kaneohe, Waialae-Kahala: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Bullet Today and next Saturday:

Airport: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Ala Moana: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Ewa Beach: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Haleiwa: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapalama, Kapolei, Makiki, Mililani, Pearl City, Wahiawa, Waialae-Kahala, Waikiki, Waipahu: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Bullet Tomorrow:

Airport: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Ala Moana, Kaneohe, Waialae-Kahala: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Bullet Sunday, Dec. 19:

Ala Moana: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Airport: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Kaneohe: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Bullet Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve):

All offices open normal business hours, except the Airport Post Office, which will close at 4:30 p.m.
